Abigail is a Los Angeles and Chicago-based, dancer, singer, actor, who is a native New Yorker having spent the first twelve years of her life there. She began her formal dance training at nine, studying jazz, tap and ballet at Steps on Broadway in Manhattan. After relocating to Southern California, she attended junior high and high school in sunny Santa Monica where she trained in both dance and vocals and was a part of the award-winning choral program at Santa Monica High School. Her performing highlight was learning and performing the original choreography of 42 Street at her local community theatre, the Morgan-Wixson.
She is currently attending the Chicago College of Performing Arts as part of the class of 2024 and expects to receive her BFA in Musical Theatre, with two years of dance concentration.
Abigail began her vocal training at age eight in New York and continued her training with Santa Monica-based vocal coach Carol Tingle, with whom she has worked for over five years. She enjoys all musical genres from classical to contemporary, but has a soft-spot for Golden Age.
Abigail has also studied drama with noted acting coach Anne Cooper and in High School participated in the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California (DTASC) annual Shakespeare Festival. In her free time, Abigail enjoys rescuing and fostering kittens as a part of the non-profit, independent rescue that she started, LA Kittens and spending time with her cat, Chicken Nugget, who is ironically named since Abigail is vegan.
She also enjoys photography and is an avid reader.
